Wonderful place to stay! Clean room. Good breakfast the next morning. Would definitely stay there again.
The hollow inn is a typical motel. My room in particular was less than inviting. There was mold in the shower, black stains on the tub floor, water leak marks under the sink. There was unknown 'stains' on the sitting room chair. The pull out bed was flat, and no one could comfortably lay without springs in the back. My bed in particular was comfortable, and the sheets appeared clean. The partition door between my room and pullout he'd was broken. Towels were small, but clean. The heater rattled, but did a great job of keeping the room warm. I did observe other rooms that did not have these same issues. The weight room looked decent enough, but in order to get to it you had to walk a maze of halls in the basement, that made me feel like I was in the shining, or Bates motel. The sauna was broken, the ice machine was broken, and the hot tub (adjacent to the weight room) had sand in the tub, and what appeared to be mold in it. The staff was ALL completely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was limited. Eggs were cooked at 0630, and left for the entire 3 hours. Pancakes we're good.
Cheap rates. Dirty tired rooms and linens. Needs a lot of work before I would go back or if I need a cheap room and breakfast than I would stay here with a sleeping bag, my own towel and a banana. The towels were ALL stained. The bed spreads had burn holes. The bathrooms were moldy. The housekeeping staff seemed nice but actually stalked me in the parking lot and begged for "service money" (aka a tip).
Location is fine. It was the cheapest option available in the area and as per the price the facilities were okay. Breakfast was provided as well. Bathrooms door lock wasn't working other than that pretty okay to stay overnight.
I am sure this was a great place to stay at some point in time but now it's just a very sad place.
Great location, close to the highway. The rooms were very nice. We we're only there for 1 night, but it looked like a nice place to stay for a longer period of time. However, they overbooked the hotel and our room was given away even though we had booked it weeks in advance. They did give us 2 roll away cots to accommodate us.
