I test-drove a car at Ayers Auto. I liked the car and was ready to purchase it (completed the financing paperwork, was approved, etc). However, they did not let me bring the car to be checked over by my mechanic (who is a well-known and reputable business person, operating locally). I walked away from the sale because of that, and purchased a car elsewhere the same day. I would not recommend purchasing a car from Ayers Auto unless they change their policy on this--any person who buys a used car should have their mechanic check it out first.
Great service, incredibly helpful, and no-pressure salespeople. A very nice group of people... I would highly recommend these folks for a buying a car locally in Central VT. I look forward to dealing with them with my new Subaru :) Thanks Ashley!
